The workshop takes place in a real working pottery studio in Tafza village, located on the Ourika Valley road approximately 40 km from Marrakech, where local artisans produce traditional Moroccan ceramics for markets and cooperatives. Sessions are available every day of the week, with both morning and afternoon time slots. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing they do not mind getting clay on, although aprons are provided. Children aged 5 and above are welcome and often find the clay-shaping process especially engaging. If you would like your finished piece to be fired and returned to you, please mention this when booking so the necessary arrangements can be be made.
